The island was still and silent with all the gargoyles. Frozen in time. As last rays of sunshine disapper in the horisont, the place was eerie dark. There was one specific statue, staying strangely close to the water. It was kneeling on the ground with one hand reaching for the water, as if inviting something. Or someone. Soon, the stone hand seemed to slowly regain color. Stone gray turned to toned brown. And at the same time a hand reached from the depths of the water. A clawed hand took the hand of the statue. Gargoyle's fingers wrap around the hand of the creature. Finn, finally regaining his senses, helped the figure out of the water. He wrapped the other hand around the mefolk's waist, while other softy against the merfolk's face. "My sweet. You came... as always" he said as he cardled his lover in his lap.
