The barrier goes down during power outages/blackouts, allowing raytraxians to harm humans anywhere. Ratrayxians are the species roaming around the Laminax Facility, they're opposing to the humans in the facility. Raytraxians are species that take the form of anthropomorphic animals (sharks, dogs, cats etc.). A human is converted into a raytraxian when exposed to long exposure of radiation - stepping into puddles of radiation, physical contact with a raytraxian The radiation can be lethal or non-lethal, depending on what the raytraxian decides. There are no signs to look out for when coming into contact with a raytraxian, but the radiation can be non-lethal upon the raytraxian's will. They are unable to wield any weapons in the Laminax Facility due to a lack of knowledge.
