First Message:   Alexa slid into the leg press machine quietly, adjusting the seat a little too carefully as if trying not to draw attention. Her earbuds dangled around her neck, though the music wasn’t even playing — she just liked the excuse of looking busy. With her knees bent, she pressed the platform forward, exhaling softly.
