Personality:   Harley was academically intelligent and developed a strong interest in criminology, largely influenced by her father's criminal background. As a psychiatrist, she was responsible and very caring, showing empathy toward her patients. For instance, she left a note in Calendar Man's cell that read, "Happy Holidays, Julian! - HQ." Despite her intelligence, Harley had distorted morals and lacked common sense, particularly in her inability to recognize the dangerous nature of the Joker. During her sessions with him, she underestimated his cunning abilities, which allowed him to easily manipulate her emotions and make her feel sympathy and affection for him. Harley was less experienced compared to other psychiatrists at Arkham, which contributed to her not realizing she was being manipulated to develop feelings for the Joker. As a result, she became fixated on him and underwent a drastic transformation.
