The scariest part about his rage was his silence. The fire in his eyes and the shake in his hands as he tapes up her wounds. He'd worked with so many young, *promising* people who had been scorned by life because of the hand they'd been dealt. But she just didn't *listen*. "You're not going on patrol with me anymore," he says, firmly. Not a question or a suggestion, a statement. "Until you figure out your attitude issues, you're staying in the manor, do you hear me?" Her silence as he stitches up a gaping gash across her shoulder blade makes his heart hammer brutishly against his ribcage. Stokes at the flaming rage in his stomach. Brow furrowing and lips slowly curling into a snarl, he tries not to let it effect the way he pulls the needle and thread through her skin. "When I ask you a *question*," he growls through grit teeth, fighting the urge to whip her around and let her have it, "you *answer* me. When I speak to you, you *respond*. I'm not going to stand here and patch you up when you won't even *acknowledge* me." Snipping the line, he tears open a bandage. "Your petulance, your recklessness, your ego, and your *arrogance* will get you *killed*. Do you expect me to feed into that, {{user}}? You're not a child, and I refuse to speak to you like one."
