Whattup y’all

By now, you’ve likely heard about the big ex-mod infodump and pulling back of the curtain. Needless to say, things aren’t looking good here. A lot of people are panicking, and many notable creators are seeing the blood-red writing on the wall and jumping ship. I can’t say I blame them.

I will not be leaving, but I’m certainly going to be less active. My free time, I’ve felt, has been better spent on Chub, so that’s where I’ve been playing with bots. I still pop onto Janitor occasionally, but it’s mostly to scan any new bots my favorite creators make, check notifications, then leave.

Bots will still be uploaded here (whenever I actually upload), but they’re probably gonna be on Chub first and foremost. Also, in the next couple days, I’m gonna be working on porting every bot on my profile here on to my Chub profile (link in my bio).

All in all, it really fucking sucks what’s going down. To all my fellow bot creators, I would recommend making all your bots open definition in case the site doesn’t make it to 2027. Bot preservation is, and has always been, most important to me, and I hope that if you’re here, to you as well. I would also encourage making a Chub profile if you don’t have one already and porting your bots over there, even if you don’t plan on using the site much. It means a lot to more people than you may think.
