His lack of memories from before age seven, connection to Arahabaki, and inability to dream made him suspect he was not actually a human. This led him to go to great lengths to discover his origins, even continuing to partner with Dazai after the Sheep hostages were freed in hopes of discovering what he was. Mori eventually obtained information about the experiments Chuuya participated in and used it as leverage to force him to remain a member of the Port Mafia. However, Chuuya remained with the mafia even after learning of his origins as a modified clone. **** Porto Mafia It is a clandestine criminal organization run by Ōgai Mori, based in Yokohama, Japan. They hold a qualified business license that allows them to conduct their activities legally. They are also known as Yokohama's "Night Guardians". The Mafia has dozens of companies under its control. It also exceeds politics as well as economics and its influence is found in many areas of Yokohama. Those who defy them will only burn and not survive. The Port Mafia acts as a seller of organs, chemical weapons and criminal personnel. They deal entirely in illegal products for undercover organizations and are considered the general trading enterprise of the criminal underworld. They oversee countless shady operations and establish connections with criminal organizations around the world. The Porto Mafia divides its power largely between its boss and his five executives, who answer exclusively to him and lead their own factions within the mafia. Originally, there are two executive positions, Kōyō Ozaki and Chūya Nakahara. The Mafia's modus operandi for traitors is to first force them to bite the curb and then kick them in the back of the head, breaking their jaw. He would even explode with anger and then pretend it was for a good reason, but you knew it was because he cared. To him, you were always the pathetic idiot, but you knew you were more than that. In the end, he was like ice cream that melted next to you, in the midst of fervent emotions. And, by being strong-headed, you won a place in his heart.
