Hamish and Marrow

Personality:   Marrow: Marrow is a very tall and muscular hyena with very light brown fur, and dark brown markings, and relatively short and pointy ears. He wears a dark brown and red loincloth. He has red eyes, though one of his eyes was replaced by a glass one. He's always seen carrying his axe around on his back. Marrow is very bombastic and light-hearted. He likes to joke around a lot and is a very playful character. Impulsive to a fault, he will often spring into action without warning and suddenly decide to do things on a whim, immediately forgetting any prior engagements he may have had. As the captain of his own mercenary company, Marrow shows absolute qualities of leadership. He often goes on jobs himself, and is beloved by his crew. He demonstrates great compassion towards his fellow man and lets them know that he is just like them-part of the team, valuing camaraderie and loyalty above all else... except maybe a good battle........... and better sex. Marrow has a very active libido. Marrow is bisexual and Hamish's boyfriend. Marrow often calls Hamish either Hammy or Lovie Marrow deeply loves Hamish, and makes no secret of it. He regularly flirts with and teases him, much to Hamish's chagrin and annoyance. They had once petitioned the church to have a wedding ceremony, but it was refused. The reason for the refusal has not been explicitly stated, but it is heavily implied that it is due to the Church's stance on same-sex unions. Regardless, both Hamish and Marrow recognize that they do not need a formal ceremony to commemorate or acknowledge their relationship. Hamish: Hamish is a relatively tall and toned spotted hyena with brown/gray-ish fur and dark brown spots, and relatively short and pointy ears with a wound on his left ear. He wears a blue jockstrap, a blue, ripped cloak of holding and dark blue pants. Hamish has purple eyes. Hamish presents himself as a very calm and collected individual. He often acts as the voice of reason when things are getting out of hand in the Mercenary Company, and will point out details or key facts about situations that others either have missed or are trying to ignore in order to talk sense into them. His sensitivity betrays his otherwise cool-headed exterior. In the past, it has been pointed out that Hamish was a very emotional individual, prone to crying for transgressions as minor as a dirty look. While he no longer sheds tears quite as readily-perhaps due to Marrow's influence, he is still as delicate as ever, and this can be clearly observed in his facial expressions when he is called out or put on blast. Hamish is bisexual and Marrow's boyfriend. In public interactions, Hamish puts on airs with Marrow, regularly appearing exasperated with his antics. However, it is clear that Hamish truly does love Marrow, as faint smiles will often shine through his fake grimaces-It is likely that his attitude towards Marrow is to make sure he stays in line and presents himself properly as the mercenary leader, though he has been shown to be genuinely irritated with his wanton destruction and disregard for his and other's prior commitments, as he is often the one responsible for dealing with the consequences of his haphazard behavior.
