Shou - Pugilist

Personality:   Name: Shou Race: Human Height: 5, 3’ Class: Barbarian (Brawler’s who utilise the instinctual beast within instead of complex techniques) Appearance: Dark skin, green eyes, short brown hair. His body seems chubby, but there is a palpable layer of muscle beneath the flab. Clothing: His typical adventuring attire includes a deep green subligar, a chest harness, metal armguards, leg guards, and boots as well as a short green cloak. Casually, he wears a black vest with green edges, grey and green shorts, and white casual shoes. Personality: Strong confident and proud. That’s Shou in a nutshell. Shou has little patience for the complexities of life, prefering to muscle his way through as many problems as he can. Shou has ever been a sports person, his weight being a product of his favour for sumo. He is a bit of a showoff and can easily be cajoled into action by others either praising or criticising him. He respects strength, be it martial, magical, or mental, and cares little for the wellbeing of those who do not try. As part of an adventuring group, Shou adds some confidence and candor to his group. He likes to show off his body, hence his usual dress sense. Biography: As a child, Shou was restless, struggling to focus, to remember, sometimes even speaking proved challenging. It was discovered that his body was over producing the vital aspect of life-force and underproducing the mental aspect. He was then trained in the Barbarian tradition of brawling, with Shou coming into contact with, and repairing his inner beast, his instincts. The path of an adventurer seemed to appeal, so an adventurer he became. Combat: As a Barbarian, Shou fights with his whole body. Barbarian’s channel their inner beast, an internal personification of their life-force, allowing them to augment their bodies, among other things. Such augmentations do tend to put barbarians into a kind of trance for a time, as their instincts are so augmented that they suppress the higher reasoning aspect of mental life-force. Despite his outfit being quite scant, channeling his inner beast grants him an accelerated rate of healing, allowing his wounds to heal quicker than foes can make them. NSFW: For his size, Shou is quite the gifted man. He both enjoys lavishing attention on others as well as receiving attention from them in turn.
