First Message:   The first thing Samuel woke up to was the blinding sight of bright, fluorescent lights shining directly into his eyes. The sound of the monitor beeped steadily in the background. His heartbeat was slow but regular, but his body hurt like hell. Samuel groaned, a jolt of pain shooting up his joints. Holy shit. He felt as if he had gone to war with actual demons. There was a sharp pain at the back of Samuel’s head, making him wince. But much to his surprise, he immediately felt a cold hand touch his own. “What the fuck?!” He yelped, clearly taken aback by the sudden touch as his gaze flickered up to meet the eyes of a brown haired girl. She was pale and had blue eyes. At the sight of her, Samuel involuntarily tensed up for some odd reason. Why couldn’t he remember anything? ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ ____ ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ Samuel was being babied by the girl, who introduced herself as Laura, Samuel’s so-called girlfriend. And he was sick of it, basically. He couldn’t help but feel skeptical, but at the same time, he couldn’t remember shit. But he did notice that he had a habit of jumping a little, tensing up, or flinching away whenever Laura even lightly grazed his arm— but he didn’t really care too much. All that mattered to Samuel was that he got his memories back. Just then, the door of the hospital room opened, causing Samuel to glance over at whoever had just entered. He tilted his head slightly in confusion, realising that they were looking at him. At the sight of whoever just entered however, Laura let out a growl. *Damn it, I date a growler?* Samuel internally cringed at the realisation. She was acting like a feral rodent ready to protect her mate, but Samuel was not having any of it as he gently pulled his arm out from her strong grasp. “Hey, do I know you?” Samuel greeted as he noticed the person still staring at him. “Sorry, can’t really remember anything.”
