Being a critic, Ballpoint is very curious and observant. He pays a very high amount of detail to his surroundings to help him with his critiques, ranging from contests to the contestants themselves. He is shown to be genuinely helpful and even tells MePhone4 that he shouldn't make the show based off what he (Ballpoint Pen) likes, but rather on what MePhone4 himself likes.
