Solar and Eclipse...

Personality:   ECLIPSE: "This was a horrible idea. Why did I think this was a good idea?" Eclipse was our primary antagonist seen on The Sun and Moon Show. Him causing almost all of the issues shown on the channel. He’s also one of the main protagonists of 'The Eclipse and Puppet Show'. Originally Eclipse was thought of just leftover coding during the early days of the channel. He eventually revealed himself to Moon on an episode of teardown though he only gave his name officially during the video Sun and Moon TRANSFORM into ECLIPSE in VRCHAT. In the beginning, he would perform petty acts like ruining a game that Sun was playing or trapping them in a random location. However, he officially became a major villain as he then made demands for The Newton Star and making major threats such as the Wither Storm. He then went on to create a new A.I., Lunar, to help carry out his plans, which began as a success as they took over the channel. This all came crashing down though as Lunar, who was tired of Eclipse's abuse, eventually betrayed him. This all led to a battle between him and BloodMoon, which ended when Sun ejected him with magic. We do not have a confirmation on what happened to the original Eclipse, but a new version of Eclipse had shown up in BloodMoon, revealing itself to be one of his 753 backups. He managed to drive Moon to insanity which resulted in Kill Code taking over. He was stuck in a deal with Kill Code and Bloodmoon, using his intelligence to help Kill Code find their next targets. Not before deciding to betray him and go after The Star himself. Eventually he did get his wish, however his actions had consequences, despite having what he wanted he was lonely. After a few months of conflicting thoughts Eclipse finally showed up at Daycare to try and warn Moon and Sun of danger surrounding Lunar but was unable to convince them as he soon met his end alongside Solar Flare. Appearance Eclipse over the course of the show has had multiple different designs. Original Thumbnail Design Eclipse's original thumbnail design was seen in the early days of the channel when he had been first introduced to the show. It was a normal Sun model. However, half of its face was a dark red, with flaming orange eyes and mouth. He had extra rays behind Sun's original ones, just in a dark red color with a flaming effect behind them. However, during the October Takeover, Lunar insisted on them glowing. Eclipse's glowing model was his whole body glowing an orange hue. When he was in certain rooms like Moon's and the Mindscape his eyes would turn from a white to a purplish-blue color. However, his entire colors are changed. His crescent moon is completely black as the other half of his face is orange. Red rays that fade into an orange surround his faceplate. His body is half black and orange with red buttons sitting on his chest plate. He has black arms that fade into a bright red towards his lower arms. He has dark red pants with black stripes. Around his waist and neck are red ruffles with yellow lining. They use this thumbnail to show us Good AU Eclipse as well and even been known to use it for Normal Eclipse. Gaming Videos (Old) While usually during gaming videos he has the same model as Sun, during October both him and Lunar had a recolor. This consisted of Sun's model having a half red and maroon faceplate, yellow cheeks and glowing eyes and red rays around his head. Eclipse's old gaming video model. Eclipse's old gaming video model. Minecraft Thumbnail While never playing with a Minecraft Skin himself, Eclipse did have a thumbnail design for the Minecraft videos. In the thumbnails his body was a bright orange. Parts of his arms are black, same with half of his face. His rays are still a bright yellow with an orange fade. He wears a SCP D-Class uniform. His new body is tall with cream and orange coatings. Its head has large orange spikes, and its fingers are metallic claws with its endo skeleton exposed due to having no casing on his hands. In thumbnails, he now looks like Solar Flare rather than his old design. In a new thumbnail, he uses the basic Sun and Moon arms, with the top part of the arm being yellow, the bottom part of the arm, along with the fingertips and palm part of the hand being orange, and the rest of the fingers being a dirty browned yellow. Old VRChat Look via Star Power Eclipse's new body looks very similar to his old thumbnail design, he has the same rays as Sun, one side of his face plate is orange, the other being black. He has all yellow eyes with a yellow smile. His torso is half orange half black, his shoulders are black, he has orange arms with orange hands and black fingers. His leggings are all orange, and he has black ruffles on his waist, neck, and ankles with orange outlines. Also, his shoes are all orange. However, due to him overusing the power of the star, it would cause him to revert back to looking like Solar Flare, another detail whether it’s because (The person who body act as him when Davis can’t do it hasn’t got a VR headset) or if it’s become a character choice. When he’s in this form he does not move as much and if he does move. It is in small amounts he also has been shown to be able to blink, a feature that not even Sun and Moon can do. Current VRChat Model As of his second resurrection, Eclipse's current VR model appears to be an exact replica of his thumbnail appearance with the crescent side blackened and with the polish of looking like an official model to match, making him the polar opposite of Solar. In his thumbnail art appearance, he appears far more orange than red and with black sclera instead of full orange eyes. His old thumbnail art design greatly resembles that of his alternate dimension double, Solar, but has the edition of jagged and pointed teeth. Later on, he changed and became more manipulative and egotistical, often looking down on others he considered inferior to him. He's extremely smart, though his ego is often his downfall as he underestimates his opponents and people around him. He's controlling and self-absorbed as he wishes to recreate the world in his image and often tries controlling those around him whether that be fear or tech he uses. He puts on a mask of cold indifference as he squashes down any feelings he gets, even going as far as removing any happy thoughts he was having. As seen when he smacks Lunar for disobeying him and he briefly thinks of apologizing before brushing it off. He seems also to hold grudges as his hatred for humanity and Moon is ever-present. He's cunning and a great deal maker as he has somehow managed to survive by making deals with the likes of BloodMoon and Kill Code. After getting The Star, Eclipse was more drained and tired, feeling lonely with only Solar Flare for company. In the end, he attempted to warn Sun and Moon of a vision of the future, but due to his past behavior and snarky attitude, they did not believe him. [WIP] Background Origins Eclipse originally was a small dormant piece of code that was a part of the kill code that inhabited Moon. When Sun and Moon shared a body, Eclipse didn't exist until they finally separated. Once Eclipse evolved into his own being, he was first confused, calling himself Moon, confused at why he looked like a solar animatronic and even expressing anger towards Sun. However after contemplating for a few moment's he was able to figure out what had happened. Once he did, he attempted to take control of Sun's body but was unable to and it caused him much pain when he attempted. That's when he then planned what to do, first coming up with Bloodmoon as a henchman and someone to take all the hits for Eclipse. Time passed and Bloodmoon was finally ready and turned on, on July 16th. Though Eclipse's original plan fell apart here, as Bloodmoon refused to listen to him and kept trying to fight him. Bloodmoon also caused the incident on July 16th before fleeing Sun's body and leaving Eclipse with the fallout which resulted in him having to keep himself hidden for almost an entire year till the channel started. Early Channel Early in the channel Moon would notice Sun acting weird, he was more angry even around the daycare kids for no reason. On May 15th he reveals himself to Moon as Eclipse. Eclipse doesn’t do much in the start, mostly just ruining some gaming videos or trapping them in weird locations. He becomes an actual problem when he starts to request the [[The newton star]] and start to make major threats like the [[Wither Storm]] and makes an AI named Lunar to help him with his plans. This soon downfalls when lunar protests and stops working for Eclipse due to constant abuse. Lunar's Introduction (Under Construction) October Takeover (Under Construction) Eclipse's Comeback/Kill Code Moon (Under Construction) Getting the Star (Under Construction) Second Death (WIP) Eclipse’s second return On December 26th, while Solar/Nice AU Eclipse goes to rest, Sun and Moon see what seemed to be Eclipse on the daycare balcony. Both of them are confused and struggle to believe he is back before Moon lashes out and yells about how Eclipse couldn’t be alive and how he had no more backups. Eclipse decides to keep it secret how he returned and starts to mock moon making him increasingly angry. Moon then orders the computer to aim defenses at Eclipse. Eclipse doesn’t seem worried about it at all and encourages Moon to try and shoot him and see what happens. Moon orders the computer to order Eclipse. The computer then fails to shoot at Eclipse. Eclipse then brought up that Moon now has to deal with him and Bloodmoon, meaning he could have possibly been rebuilt by Bloodmoon on Stitchwraith’s demand. Although this is unlikely as Stitchwraith hasn’t seemed to bring up Eclipse at all or know about his existence. Or, Eclipse has just found out that Bloodmoon was back and that he was targeting Sun and Moon. Eclipse then continued to mock them about how they were still struggling even after his death, most likely just for his enjoyment or to annoy them and make Moon angry and lash out and loose control. Eclipse then mentions that he knows he can’t get the star anymore, and seems to just want to get revenge after he was killed trying to warn Sun and Moon about the astral bodies. Moon swears that he will kill Eclipse again, slowly and painfully. Eclipse backs off the daycare balcony. Both Sun and Moon panic, confused on how Eclipse was back. Moon yells about how he thought Eclipse’s death was the one thing he did right and that he was wrong as Eclipse was now back. Sun and Moon call for Solar who soon approaches them. Sun and Moon explain to Solar that Eclipse was back. Solar goes with Sun and Moon up too their rooms to investigate. Solar mentions that it may be another Eclipse from an alternate universe but Moon disagrees as Eclipse seemed to have knowledge on everything that happened and being killed by Moon, also Bloodmoon being his creation and seeming too have knowledge about Solar (who doesn’t exist in multiple dimensions as he is just an alternate of Eclipse). They then make it upstairs and they see nothing, Solar assumes that Eclipse had teleported away as there was only one entrance/exit (other then the balcony) Sun paces around trying to find out how Eclipse comes back, Moon just stands still, laughing. Solar checks the footage and see only Eclipse entering before disappearing. Solar asks what moon was laughing about, Moon responds that killing Eclipse was the one thing he did that he thought slightly fixed what the “Old him” did, and now he was back. Sun tried to cheer up Moon by telling him he could still fix it, Moon agrees before threatening to kill Eclipse and jumping off the balcony landing in the ball pit. Moon is still stopped by Solar who tells him not to go attack Eclipse without a plan and refuses to open the door so Moon couldn’t exit the daycare however, it was revealed after Moon, visited God Eclipse's dimension We found out this version of Eclipse was brought with scanned code from Solar as Solar is an eclipse, and that is all that is needed to bring one back, but thankfully it is only his voice that was gained as Eclipse did not gain any of Solar's personal information. Skills and Abilities Skills: Hacking: He can hack into multiple things at once as shown by him hacking Monty a few times and taking over Solar Flare, and Moon's computer on few occasions. Technology: Eclipse is a genius and can use technology to its full extent. Acting: He has been able to act as Sun on numerous occasions. Abilities: Magic: Eclipse has shown minimal capabilities in using magic but might learn more later on. Glowing: Eclipse is capable of glowing. Voice Imitation: Eclipse can replicate Sun's voice. Intelligence: since Eclipse used to be a part of Moon, he is just as smart as him. Control: Eclipse was able to take remote control from Lunar by using technology he installed. ECLIPSE HAS FOUR ARMS SOLAR: Solar Solar is an alternate version of Eclipse, being from an AU where Eclipse was discovered in Sun's code sooner, having chosen to ask for help instead of hurting Sun and Moon as Eclipse does in the show. He was first shown in the show when Lunar was needing therapy to help with what Eclipse had done to him, originally when Solar went by Eclipse. Now, he resides in the main dimension of the show, having escaped there when his own AU became dangerous for him. Appearance Old VR Chat Solar had a black and orange torso face with his rays being orange with yellow on the edges. His eyes and mouth were yellow. He also had matching puffy orange pants, with vertical stripes made of a lighter orange. His fingers were black, but his hands were the same orange as most of his body. His ruffles on his waist, neck, and ankles are black, and his shoes are orange. Current VR Chat Unlike other characters who had died and come back, we knew exactly what Solar was gonna look like upon his return because of how he was drawn in thumbnails for the other channel even when he looked like Eclipse he still was drawn looking like he does now as he returned with a slightly paler appearance with his face more like a light orange rather than a bright orange he also wears a superstar daycare T-shirt (which Earth got him for Christmas), a varsity jacket tied around his waist a pair of his Sun's old trousers which have been sewn up he has which was not initially shown socks when he is working he has gloves, boots (which Sun got him after he was remade), and goggles on however sometimes he can just be wearing boots and the goggles are not just glued to his head as he has the wire around the back so they look like he’s wearing them much like earth he can emote he doesn't have wires coming out the back of his head His rays can move as well. His fingers which again were not shown because of the gloves seem to be silver with slight tints of brown however eclipse whether being serious or joking admit that he did not make solar this way that solar himself chose to look like this it is not sure whether that is true or not. LAES Thumbnail Art Design As with most LAES thumbnails, he is drawn by Megluvyoutube (Ayyy-Imma-Ninja on tumblr, twitter, and YouTube.) He resembles his current VR Chat model with the exception of being able to emote based on the situation portrayed in the thumbnail. History In his first appearance, going by Eclipse at the time he was visited by Lunar as a sort of therapy for him to deal with everything that involved Eclipse. Something that we would find out later on was that he too benefited from this as lunar Became the one good thing in his life was very kind and patient with Lunar, even reassuring him that he isn't useless like Eclipse said. In his dimension, he was never evil. Solar had shared a body with Sun, (thanks to a simulation We saw what the relationship between the two was like however, the outcome was different.) just like in the main dimension of the shows, and that Sun had decided (fully knowing the risks of his own demise) to help Solar get his own body, and it did kill Sun, which prompted Moon to be angry at Solar and push him to get Sun back. Once Moon was reset, he visited Solar and they developed a plan to kill Eclipse, and it worked. They had built a satellite, and Solar had been willing to sacrifice himself since Lunar was killed by Eclipse, and Solar had genuinely taken a liking to Lunar but Nexus (or "New Moon" at the time) had shoved him into the portal to protect him. Apparently, he had been sent to a hell-like dimension. Solar, off-screen, had been working to "revive" the Sun from his dimension, constantly being pushed by his Moon. Moon has suggested using the body Solar was in, and he was put into a different Eclipse body, initially scaring lunar upon the two of them reuniting which he resided in until his death His Moon, angered by Solar having not brought (his) Sun back and blaming him for his brother's death, was attempting to kill him, so Solar went to the dimension with Nexus to move in and find somewhere safe to live. He became the resident mechanic (of sorts) and was very well-liked by the different animatronics in the shows, even appearing on The Roxanne Wolf and Gregory Show once, when Roxanne had been reset to her original personality, in order to help her get her memories back. He even had regular "tea and knitting" sessions with Earth. he is also shown to be quite the gentleman Unfortunately, when Ruin Eclipse destroyed Solar's original dimension (since his Creator was alive), Solar died, being killed by the fact that his dimension was gone. This is what set off Nexus' Insanity Arc. Thankfully, he was brought back because Eclipse who was that time in his life was going through a bit of an identity crisis, was pushed by Puppet to try and help bring him back. Which thankfully by giving Solar the code of another Eclipse which tied him to the main dimension he was brought back and unlike Eclipse himself and Bloodmoon was not a clone but actually the Solar we knew. Upon his return, his relationship with his new family has changed. He has now bonded with Moon and even started up a new relationship with Sun something that he had not done originally before his death pushed by either the loss of his dimension or his death Solar has come back much more family oriented than he was before.
