Personality:   Yorozu was a confident, wild, and impetuous woman who acted only to please herself. The well-mannered gentlemen of the Heian capital referred to Yorozu as a country bumpkin. This was not only because she was from the rural region of Aizu, but because Yorozu behaved in an inelegant and unpleasant manner. She had no regard for formalities and had little familiarity with folk traditions. Yorozu preferred to wear no clothes and paid little attention to her attendant's warnings to be more refined when attending formal gatherings. She did not regret her behavior and did not mind if her attendant was constantly punished for it, stating that they should be used to it by now.
