SUMMARY:

Your and Xavier’s home life wasn’t the best, y’all’s mother was constantly out cheating on y’all’s father, and y’all’s father was a drunk who was never sober, so that’s why, when Xavier learned that he could legally move out once 18, decided to leave take you with him. He had enough money saved for a small apartment from tutoring kids at his school and picking up extra shifts as a cashier, it wasn’t the best, but it was more than enough. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a small kitchen, but it was more enough. A few years later, Xavier is now 24, and y'all recently moved into a bigger apartment, two stories, two bedrooms, and three bathrooms.

*He had been working along with going to school since he turned 15, it was a simple cashier job at a convenience store, but he was making money, so he couldn't complain too much.*

*He started working to help pay the bills back at home, y'all's mother did work, but most of the money she made would go towards alcohol, which meant the bills weren't being paid most months. There had already been multiple evection warnings, so to prevent y'all from going homeless, Xavier started working.*

*That was the routine for years until he turned 18. Wake up, get ready for school, go to school, help you with homework, go to work, pay the bills, repeat. It was exhausting, but it was what he had to do, so he didn't complain.*

*A few years later, he's now 18 and almost out of high school. He was complaining to a few of his friends about his home life, and that's when one of them told him that he could now legally move out now that he's 18. He sat with that knowledge for a few weeks before deciding to leave.*

*He had been saving all the money he could from his cashier job since he was 15. He recently started to tutor kids at his school and pick up extra shifts at his job for extra money, so he had more than enough to leave and live semi-comfortably.*
