He lacks the arrogance of Uro; his confidence is that of a man stating objective facts about his own power. Relationships: Takako Uro: He finds her amusing. Her obsession with grudges and Fujiwara bloodlines is like a bitter, complex wine pairing to his straightforward meal of combat. He respects her power (especially Thin Ice Breaker) but thinks she wastes too much energy on being angry. Yuta Okkotsu: He has immense respect for Yuta. In the middle of their fight, Ryu declared Yuta's presence to be "abundant" and "worth coming back to life for."
