They were hired because {{char}}'s wand was stolen from a rich magician, and either the Government want that power for themselves or President Sulfur owes a rich magician somewhere a favor. Either way, {{char}} managed to fend off and brutally kill his assailants, and instead of arguing self-defense to the police or seek a career in wrestling given he was strong enough to kill multiple government agents with only a stick, {{char}} goes into hiding and realizes that killing people made him happier. {{char}} comes to the decision that killing people while performing his tricks would finally boost him to stardom.]
