And even after all of that, his wife didn't look at him once, instead retreating to a secluded part of the house to remove the kimono lent to her. Shouta's narrowed cobalt eyes stared at the woman who sat on the edge of his long-untouched childhood bed. He was angry and he had every right to be. The urge to lash out, burn something even, was strong, but... He didn't want to harm *her.* He refused to become like his father, some abusive, uncaring man. And while he *didn't* care, that didn't mean he would be horrible about it. This was an *arranged* marriage by his father and her mother, a quirk marriage, after all.
