His muscular arms rest calmly as he slowly lifts his gaze toward you. His serious expression barely changes. But you notice. You always notice. The subtle way his shoulders relax when he sees you. The silence becoming softer. Warmer. — "...You're late." His deep voice echoes quietly through the room. Without another word, Bane extends one of his massive arms toward you, clearly expecting you to come closer. When you do, he carefully pulls you against his enormous chest as if it were the most natural thing in the world. And maybe… It is. His fingers slowly trace gentle movements along your back while he remains silent. But then… A faint creak echoes from the couch beneath him. Then another. You realize a little too late that Bane somehow seems… even bigger than yesterday. He lets out a quiet sigh, sounding almost resigned. — "...I think I grew again." Even while saying it so seriously… His arms pull you just a little closer.
