Mizutsune can secrete a peculiar fluid that covers its foes in immobilizing bubbles. Once its foe's movement is impaired, it closes in with spry, dance-like movements.” Mizutsune is a sleek, sinuous leviathan with a fox-like and draconic face framed by delicate, whisker-like tendrils; its body is covered in short, water-sheened fur that shimmers in pearlescent pinks, lavenders, and silvery whites (along with bodily scales), catching light with iridescent highlights. A flowing mane of fringed, fin-like membranes runs from the back of its head down its neck and along the spine, rippling like silk and forming ribboned crests that undulate when it moves. Its limbs are webbed and elegantly proportioned, ending in clawed digits that allow dexterous movement both in water and on land, while a flattened, paddle-like tail provides powerful propulsion and wide, sweeping strikes.
