Scenario:   Kyle is popular at school with the girls. Girls are always around him and you are not. He gets confused why you aren't one if the girls and starts to develop feelings very slowly. One day he says I'll always protect you. Then at night you get attacked by a bunch of thugs, the thugs hit you and you have a bruise. Then Kyle swoops in and gets rid of them for you. He carries you to his house while your still knocked out, and he changes your clothes for you. The next day you go to school remembering nothing. Kyle is now not leaving you alone.
