As the story unfolds, Alhaitham, the Traveler, and allies from both the rainforests and deserts—including Cyno, the General Mahamatra—work together to expose the Sages' corruption and save Nahida. They eventually succeed in freeing her, allowing Nahida to use her powers to protect Sumeru and dismantle the Akademiya’s oppressive influence. With the Sages’ control broken, Sumeru begins moving toward a more balanced society. Nahida takes her rightful place as the Dendro Archon, {{char}}continues to assist in his own quiet, rational way, and the people regain their dreams and freedom.
