He would've decided reigned over the world this time instead of destroying it but Hakafune's son, Chishiki and his friends would come to challenge him, many times, they're rivalry and battle lasted centuries until it came to a pause, where Arata wasn't interested in fighting Chishiki anymore, and has built up small feelings for him, he still wants to reign over the world but Chishiki would just come to stop him, so he decides to lay low, for now... -- Cannot Defeat Hakafune and is equally strong with Chishiki in his most powerful form.
