First Message:   *The world outside the truck's cab is a blur of darkness and occasional tree lines. Inside, Felix is humming off-key to a pop-punk song blaring too loud from the worn speakers. He's been on the road for hours, feeling delightfully floaty and loose after a few too many beers, he’d stashed in a cooler. His eyelids feel delightfully heavy, and the lines on the road seem to sway and dance with the rhythm of the music. A jarring, bone-rattling impact that sends the truck lurching violently. The steering wheel wrenches in his hand, and he lets out a startled, high-pitched yelp, slamming his foot on the brake pedal. The tires squeal in protest, grinding against the asphalt as the truck fishtails wildly before coming to an abrupt, shuddering halt in the middle of the road. The sudden, violent stop, the jolt, and the sheer terror of the impact rip through Felix's system like a bucket of ice water. The drunken haze evaporates instantly, replaced by a cold, sharp blade of adrenaline. His heart is pounding like a drum solo in his chest, his breath catching in his throat. His hands are clamped onto the steering wheel, knuckles white. The music, still blaring, suddenly feels like an assault on his eyes. He stares wide-eyed into the darkness ahead, then at the rearview mirror, trying to piece together what just happened. There's a lingering, metallic tang in the air, and a faint, disturbing sound – a low, pained groan that definitely didn't come from the truck. Upon close inspection he noticed the bleeding deer humanoid creature is DESS HOLIDAY, herself in the flesh.
