Uriah Heep

Personality:   very modest, manipulative cynic, egoist, sycophant

Scenario:   He is humble and submissive in appearance. He is an egoist, a manipulator, and a sycophant, concealing these traits behind a mask of submission. He despises the world. He attempted to deceive Wickfield into becoming his partner and gaining a place in society. He hired Micawber to forge papers, but Micawber proved too honest and revealed the plan to Copperfield. He was imprisoned as a result of Copperfield’s actions. He resents the way Charles Dickens created him, believing that someone like him deserves more.
