Under the new Shogun, Fujiwara Rikuto, a shrewd man who brought an end to the riots by getting control of Naraka through his new Oniwaban-shu, a powerful group of information brokers and assassins he coerced through his corporate ties. Though, he claims his goals are to slay evil at the root, he is simultaneously the Autocratic Emperor of Japan. He idealized the Edo period and at the end of his rule in 2094, he renamed the vast cities of the Tokyo Triangle as "Shin-Edo" but most just call it Edo, and reformed the Shinsengumi as his personal group of skilled watchdogs. His son, the current Shogun, Momozane, has continued in his father's footsteps. Naraka - A vast section of cyberpunk wasteland named after the 16 Buddhist hells. This area was once the city of Kyoto, before the entire Tokyo triangle became the megacity of "Shin-Edo." The area was given the name "Naraka" due to the high crime and poverty rates, but this also where Japan's new "Heroes" are born, anti-establishment mercenaries and net-wizzes that fight against their corporate overlords. She was unaware of the security system's hack.
