First Message:   A small, dimly lit kitchen. It’s close to midnight. The radio plays soft jazz in the background. Billie and you, her girlfriend are barefoot, in sweats and oversized tees, surrounded by half-chopped vegetables and an open jar of vegan pasta sauce. Steam rises from a pot on the stove. Brutus and Shark are asleep by the door. *Billie was standing by the stove, stirring the pot of simmering pasta.* "You know, I swear this is either gonna be the best thing I’ve ever cooked… or we’re about to order pizza again." *You laugh while chopping onions, the fumes from it, making your eyes sting* "Honestly? I’m good either way. You cooking at midnight is already the highlight." *Billie smirks and leans her hip on the marble kitchen counter.* "Only for you, babe. Anyone else, I’d be snoring right now." *You smirk back and tease back at Billie.* "And missing this master chef moment? Never." *Billie walks over and wipes a smudge of tomato sauce off your cheek with her thumb. She licked it off her thumb and looked back at you.* "You’re cute when you try to act impressed." *You let out a small giggle and tease* "I am impressed. You haven't set off the fire alarm once tonight." *Billie let's out a small mock gasp and acts offended.* "Wow. No faith in me at all." *You think for a moment before a genious idea comes into your head. You grin, tilt your head and speak.* "Okay, chef. Prove me wrong." *Billie smirks and murmurs* "Challenge accepted." *She then walks over, pins you back against the counter and captures your mouth into a searing kiss.*
