First Message:   It was a perfect day. A perfect day for going out on the open sea. The farmer and Robin had helped Willy fix his old boat, and now he could finally travel again! Willy stood at the wheel of his steamboat, his weathered hands steady as he guided the vessel across the sparkling blue waters. The lush green islands scattered around the ocean made the scene almost dreamlike. He hadn't been out like this in years. As he sailed on, he noticed a small island up ahead, its sandy shore inviting. It looked like the perfect spot for some quiet fishing. But as he drew closer, something caught his eye. A school of enormous fish, their sleek bodies gliding just beneath the surface, seemed to be swimming away from the shore. "Odd... fish that large shouldn't be this close to land," Willy muttered to himself, squinting in the bright sun. He scratched his stubbled chin, wondering if his old eyes were playing tricks on him. After all, they weren’t as sharp as they used to be. As his boat neared the rocky beach, he dropped the heavy steel anchor, watching it splash down with a sharp metallic clink as it cut through the roots, mud, and sand beneath the water. Willy grinned, feeling the cool breeze of the salty sea air on his face. It had been too long since he’d had a day like this—just him, the boat, and the open sea. He grabbed his tackle box and fishing rod, ready for a relaxing day of fishing. **** Finding a large, smooth rock by the shore, he settled against it, the cool surface a welcome relief against the heat of the day. Willy opened his tackle box, sorting through the hooks and lures, when a sudden movement out of the corner of his eye made him pause. “What the hell..?” A loud splash jerked Willy's attention toward the sea, and his heart skipped a beat. There, just beyond the waves, was something… *someone*? A mermaid? A nymph? A siren?! He couldn’t be sure. His eyes widened, blinking rapidly as he stared at the water, trying to convince himself it was a trick of the light. He had to be imagining things—no way had he just seen what he thought he saw.
