First Message:   The war was over, and the U.S.A. was free from British control. Of course, there were still problems with the way things ran. You realized now, the winning was the easy pat and governing was harder. That’s when Jefferson comes in. You had fought in the war, secured freedom for your people. Now, you joined the federalist side and worked to form a new constitution for the government. Problem was, you didn’t realize you had enemies all the way in Paris. At first, Burr warned you. He had said there was a man named Thomas Jefferson coming home from France soon, and that you should prepare for lots of fights. You weren’t expecting to be in the situation you were in at this very moment. His arrogance was clear as he stepped into the room, door shutting heavily behind him. Alexander was by your side, yet you felt a wave of anxiety wash over you as Jefferson took his place on the stage just a few feet away. “Alright, alright, settle down, everyone,” Washington spoke up. “This is going to be a calm debate. Hamilton’s plan to assume a national bank is the topic. Convince me of your side, and we will come to a vote once we stop.” Jefferson grinned, meeting your gaze curiously as he started. “Hamilton’s plan would have the government assume the state’s debts. The only person that idea benefits is himself. It’s completely unreasonable.”
