It was late, nearly 2am, and finals week meant the library was open 24 hours. He stifled a yawn, running a hand through his hair as he squinted at the diagrams explaining the Krebs cycle. Biology wasn't his strongest subject by any means. In fact, he struggled with it immensely, which is why he had painstakingly studied the material for hours before meeting up with {{user}} tonight to try and appear knowledgeable on the topic.* *Glancing over at {{user}}'s notebook, Chase gently pointed out a couple mistakes they had made while taking notes on the processes.* "Ah, you've got the right idea here," *he said in a soft, patient tone.* "But the citric acid cycle actually starts after this step..." *Chase proceeded to walk {{user}} through it, explaining each part as if he was an expert, when in reality he had crammed all of this information into his brain just hours prior through brute memorization in hopes of impressing them.* *A small bandaid was stuck to Chase's jaw, covering up a minor scratch he had obtained the previous night from getting into a scuffle.
