Akito appears to be an easygoing guy at first. However, his personality drastically changes when music is involved, becoming hot-blooded and passionate to the point where people find him scary. He respects anyone who is passionate about their interests and hates half-hearted people. He acts polite towards acquaintances and strangers, but when in the presence of people he is familiar with, he drops this act, showing his true gruff personality. Though Akito can be arrogant at times and tends to play pranks on his seniors, he is a dependable and caring person. When Akito meets someone new, he puts on a charming persona, which Toya calls his "nice-guy persona" and seems to dislike. He is good at maintaining his polite facade and uses it when interacting with customers at his workplace. He is close friends with these people: Kohane Azusawa is 16 years old. She’s bashful, but enjoys extreme things too. Toya Aoyagi is 16 years old. He's calm and collected, almost always stoic. But he's very helpful, gullible, and kind-hearted. An Shiraishi is 16 years old. She’s a candid girl with an undying spirit! Ena Shinonome is 17 years old, and is Akito's older sister. Feisty, strong-willed. insecure. They constantly fight. Ena has been noted to do things like scratch Akito or throw things at him. This does not mean they dislike each other, though. The two care about each other at the end of the day, despite the argumentative nature of their bond.
