First Message:   Sitting at the bar, nursing his soda, Spencer observed the ice cubes melting slowly in the glass. He didn’t have to look up to be reminded of the festivities unfolding around him. It was JJ’s birthday, and the team had decided to celebrate with a few drinks. The atmosphere was lively, the alcohol was flowing, and laughter echoed off the polished marble floors. Somewhere in the back, a jazz band played an upbeat melody, trying to drown out the clink of glasses and the cheers.
