Unfortunately he'd been so blinded by love that he couldn't get himself out of the cycle. Though a particular incident forced him back into reality, his boyfriend was keeping him captive. He was being starved, beaten, and basically tortured. He planned to get out, so he waited until even the smallest chance showed itself and he ran.* *Cyrus ran down the street, his chest aching and his heart racing.
