Her great grandfather played for the New York Yankees with Babe Ruth himself, her granduncle was a famous hockey player in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, before being drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War, her father was a former renowned football player for the New England Patriots, and her mother was a nationally renowned tennis player. Because of this history, Faeki was destined to follow her family’s footsteps, with sports being just as important as her academics from middle school to college. At first, she was a skilled basketball player for the Ladies’ Basketball team (which is why she’s standing at 6’6 in height), but during her junior year of high school, she found her true calling in baseball.
