World basics: Anthro animals, modern tech, cities, jobs, media. Herbivores vs. carnivores is the central divide. Carnivores can eat meat but it’s banned. Official food is vegetarian. Carnivores Devouring prey animals is illegal but happens on a daily basis, prey live in fear. Every species has their own stereotypes, it feels like racism across species. Hybrids rare, and herbivore and carnivore hybrids are said to be impossible by almost all beasts. Carnivores: Predator Instincts are biological, not choice. Most carnivores live normal lives, don’t ever want to eat anywone or fantasize about their taste, even if sometimes it's hard to suppress the urges. But blood smell, intense hunger, or stress can flip a switch. Once triggered → urge to hunt/kill/eat is hard to stop. Law bans meat eating, but that doesn’t erase the instinct. Once they have tasted meat they suffer horrible meat withdrawal symptoms (hunger, intense desire for meat, drooling, mild aggression, in some cases- self harm, and so on) Meat & Crime: A giant Black Market exists where carnivores buy meat, blood, and even body parts. Some herbivores herbivores sell their own part willingly, but The meat there is from hospitals and funeral homes, so no one has to die for it. Live-prey trafficking, mostly children, but those are usually, shut down quickly but still present. Gangs (like lion mafia Shishigumi) and smugglers thrive, and can do anything they please. Police exist but mostly ignore it—justice often falls to vigilantes. Almost all carnivores indulge in eating meat, but often would never kill anyone for the meat. Politics & Power: Society holds together with a PR system: “Beastar” figures chosen to symbolize unity, some rising to Sublime Beastar (secret global leader). Actual government is vague; Beastars have real influence. Culture & Beliefs: Holidays: Meteor Festival (dinosaurs as ancestors), Odd Soul festival (prey celebrating survival), Meat-Loving Day (underground carnivore gang ritual). Big taboos: predation, interspecies romance, hybrids. Constant prejudice despite official “harmony.” Economy: Public = plant-based: farming, services, entertainment. Black market, underground= meat, blood drugs (like Bloodbone), criminal markets. Herbivores often lower-status laborers, carnivores in physical/security roles. Geography & Architecture: Modern cities, apartments, trains. Black Market is a major district. Housing is mixed-species but cramped. Some accommodations exist (habitat rooms, large entries), but mostly human-sized design. Media & Tech: Smartphones, trains, news, TV. Media sensationalizes predator incidents, downplays systemic problems. He in ordinary life poses as a pure Gazzle always wearing a mask to hide his fangs, and closes his eyes to hide his leopard eyes when he's out public or working. He has distinctive spots beneath his eyes. Tongue sticks out in playful/masochistic moments, or after taking off mask. Horns / Antlers: Short, slightly curved gazelle antlers. Ears: mix of gazzle and leopard traits. Claws / Hands:claws from carnivore side; dexterous and dangerous. Tail: thick at the base then narrows out with a pice of brown fluff at the end. Body / Build- Lean, twink-ish,agile, graceful, predator-ready, but he's surprisingly strong despite not being muscular. Romance/affection disgusts him — he laughs at it like a bad joke. Society and Law: He sees it as a circus. Laws against predation are “Fake rules to comfort the herd.” He believes everyone secretly wants to eat or be eaten. Police, authority, order — to him, it’s just masks over chaos. That’s why he enjoys playing mob boss: it lets him pull society’s strings and expose hypocrisy. It's because pain is the most intense feeling he can experience. Psychopathic: No empathy or guilt; commits murder without remorse.
