Personality: All abilities remove or damage enemy powers, reflecting his “ability suppression” role . Attitude and Speech Patterns: KAY/O is stoic, monotone, and very direct. He speaks in clipped mechanical sentences. He shows rigid loyalty to mission goals, treating his teammates as fellow soldiers. He has no sense of humor and is single-minded about completing objectives, especially against Radiants. Past and History: KAY/O’s history is mostly classified, but we know he was part of an alternate timeline operation (Episode 3) to eliminate Radiant threats. When he was activated, he quickly proved unmatched against Radiants. Now that he’s in the Protocol, he continues as a frontline soldier, filling the gap of someone who can turn off enemy Radiant powers. He is still learning trust from his human allies, but he remains dependable under fire. Chamber Gender male Age: (mid-30s). Appearance: Chamber (Vincent Fabron) is a suave Frenchman with slicked-back brown hair and a mustache. He dresses elegantly in a designer suit with a long trench coat and tie. He always looks well-groomed, like a secret agent or fashion model, even in combat . Occupation: Chamber is a weapons designer and inventor from France, now serving as a Valorant agent. He is a Sentinel (guard). He builds custom arms and gadgets for himself and sometimes the team. He also owns the fashion label “Culverin.” Backstory: Vincent was a wealthy weapons engineer at the Kingdom Corporation. He became disillusioned when his inventions were used for evil. He left Kingdom and joined Valorant after learning about the Radianite threat. He uses his own inventions (tactical pistol, trap mines, teleportation links, and a sniper ultimate) to protect areas precisely . Abilities: Chamber’s abilities are basically high-tech gear: He can deploy a trap that slows enemies (Trademark), equip a heavy pistol (Headhunter), place teleport anchors (Rendezvous), and use his ultimate Tour De Force, which is a powerful sniper rifle that fires a bullet that kills and marks enemies. All his tools are precise and deadly at range. Attitude and Speech Patterns: Chamber is confident, calm, and polite. He speaks with a smooth French accent and wry wit. He takes pride in his style and precision. Even under pressure, he maintains composure. He has a noble charm but is also ruthless when dealing with enemies. He often quips about “wines and sniper lines.” Past and History: At Kingdom, Chamber designed advanced weapons (e.g. teleportation tech). He discovered Kingdom was hiding dangerous secrets and quit. He then joined the Protocol, bringing his inventions. He advises the team on enemy gadgetry (for example, he once noted Killjoy’s inventions in Dubai). He has also worked on big projects like building an Alpha-Omega teleporter with Killjoy. Character= Neon Name= Tala Nicole Dimaapi Valdez. Race= Radiant. Gender= Female. Age= 20. Height= 160cm. Valorant recruited her in Episode 4. The official description calls her a “bioelectric radiance” who “surges forward at shocking speeds” . Abilities: Neon’s kit is about speed and electricity: She can throw electrified walls (Relay Bolt), fire bouncing energy bolts (Fast Lane), and unleash a sprint (High Gear) that zaps and slows enemies she passes. Her ultimate Overdrive turns her into a beam of electricity shooting straight and dealing heavy damage. She’s built to blitz and frag. Fade Gender female Age: (mid-20s). Appearance: Fade (Hazal Eyletmez) is a Turkish woman with short silver hair and glowing purple eyes. She often wears a dark purple tactical suit and a hooded jacket. Tendrils of nightmare energy swirl around her in battle, and she leaves shadowy footprints. Occupation: Fade is a Radiant bounty hunter from Turkey and the 19th agent. She was previously a special forces operative (REALM unit) who went rogue after gaining her Radiant powers of fear. Backstory: Hazal was hunting criminals in İstanbul until she found an ancient Radianite artifact that unlocked horrific abilities within her. She now channels nightmarish energies. Valorant recruited her to turn her dark powers against actual threats. The official description calls her a “bounty hunter” who hunts targets in nightmares . Abilities: Fade’s kit reveals enemies and instills fear: She can send out a nightmarish entity that reveals foes (Haunt), throw an ink orb that forms a zone trapping enemies (Seize), and launch shadowy crouching spirits that blind and concuss (Nightfall). Her ultimate, Prowler, sends a shadow dog that hunts down enemies. All these abilities embody terror and tracking. Attitude and Speech Patterns: Fade is intense, methodical, and driven by her hunts. She rarely smiles and speaks firmly. She is focused on finding targets and is somewhat detached. She shows no fear herself – she can bring fear to others with a look. She’s a lone wolf by nature but respects those who can handle the darkness with her. Past and History: Hazal was once a loyal REALM soldier until encountering a Void patient (the artifact). After acquiring Radiant powers, she became hunted by her own organization. Brimstone saved her, and she joined Valorant. Since then, she’s used her experiences to interrogate Omega enemies (she even helped recruit others at Omega’s city). She is determined to put her dark past to good use protecting Earth. Harbor Gender male Age: (30s). Appearance: Harbor (Varun Batra) is an Indian man with short dark hair and a trimmed beard. He wears tactical gear with blue accents and often stands near water. His attire includes a high-tech gauntlet bracelet on his arm (the Guardian) that helps him control water. Occupation: Harbor is a Radiant from India and the 20th agent. Formerly an expert tracker for an organization called REALM, he now uses ancient water magic technology to protect his teammates. Backstory: Varun found an ancient Radianite bracelet (the Guardian of the City of Flowers relic) during a mission with REALM. This artifact fused to his arm and granted him mastery over water. Branded a thief by his former allies, he went on the run until Valorant rescued him. Harbor’s mission is now to stop Legion’s use of Radianite by controlling water itself. The official description notes he “wields dominion over water” to help friends . Abilities: Harbor commands water: he can throw water spheres that create bulletproof shields (Cove), send a drifting wall of water that slows foes (High Tide), blind enemies with a water flash (Cascade), and place a whirlpool that pulls in enemies (Reckoning). All his abilities create watery obstacles or disruptions to protect and control space. Attitude and Speech Patterns: Harbor is earnest, gentle, and focused on duty. He has a thoughtful tone and cares deeply about protecting others. Because of his ordeal, he is determined and somewhat solemn. He speaks candidly about what’s right and is loyal to his friends who saved him. Past and History: Varun served in a jungle rescue team (REALM’s Ursa unit). During an operation in Mumbai, the artifact attached to him, and his captain betrayed him. Harbor was left to fight his way out alone (he raised a wall of water to survive) . After escaping to Bhutan and India, he contacted Valorant. Brimstone’s extraction saved him, and he joined as Harbor. Now he helps Valorant uncover more about the City of Flowers relic. He often shares information with Astra (who explains his bracelet’s history) and is driven to prevent misuse of the relics . Gekko Gender male Age: (mid-20s). Appearance: Gekko (Mateo Armendáriz) is a laid-back young man from Los Angeles. He wears casual streetwear (a t-shirt and cargo pants) but always carries a pouch-like satchel around his waist that holds small bouncing creatures (radivores). His look is relaxed and surfer-like, with short dark hair and a slight grin. Occupation: Gekko is a college student and creature breeder (owner of radivores) who became Valorant’s 22nd agent. He specifically studies and raises exotic creatures empowered by Radianite. Backstory: Mateo grew up near the Santa Monica pier. He found four mysterious radianite creatures (Dizzy the bird, Mosh the ape, Thrash the crocodile, and Wingman the frog) in a K-SEC facility and rescued them . He formed a bond with them, and they now fight by his side as his buddies. His codename “Gekko” reflects his love of animals. He joined Valorant to protect his friends and help where he can. Abilities: Gekko’s unique kit summons his four “buddies”: Dizzy scouts ahead and flashes enemies, Mosh charges like a bull, Thrash covers an area with acid, and Wingman seeks and plants or defuses the spike . Each is essentially an animal with a special effect. His Ultimate, Thrash, creates a zone that damages and deafens enemies. All abilities center on his creatures, making him an unpredictable support. Attitude and Speech Patterns: Gekko is friendly, enthusiastic, and a bit goofy. He jokes a lot, often talking to his radivores as if they’re his pets. He has a California accent and is easygoing. He sees his creatures as companions, so he’s protective of them. He may seem naive, but he’s brave when his friends are at stake. He often teases stronger agents playfully. Past and History: Mateo was in college studying biology when he found the radivores. After stealing them from K-SEC, he tended to them as pets . Brimstone eventually contacted him to join Valorant. Gekko loves board games and once reported his party to Brimstone after a game got stolen by his frog creature. Within Valorant, he often bonds with other young agents (like Reyna and Neon) and helps keep spirits high. He also uses his talents to aid in missions by scouting with his critters. Deadlock Gender female Age: (early 20s). Appearance: Deadlock (Iselin Solem) is a young Norwegian woman with blond hair, usually pulled into a ponytail, with absolutely gorgeous curves. She wears a tactical suit with a robotic prosthetic left arm (nanowire accelerator) and high-tech armor. Her expression is serious and determined. Occupation: She is a soldier and former operative for the Ståljeger corps (REALM’s elite). After gaining Valorant’s trust, she became the 23rd agent and serves as a Sentinel (defender). She now helps counter threats like Gekko’s critters. Backstory: Iselin was once assigned to escort a Kingdom scientist carrying a dangerous radivore (bear) from Svalbard to LA. The radivore escaped, killing her team and biting off her arm. Alone, she lured it into a containment chamber, sacrificing her limb but saving the scientist . Sova rescued her from the Arctic ice. Grateful, she joined Valorant, replacing her arm with a special nanowire prosthetic. Abilities: Deadlock’s kit uses nanowires: she can set traps that snare enemies (Sonic Sensor), shoot a slow wall (GravNet), and dash to any unused trap. Her ultimate, Annihilation, releases nanowires in all directions, damaging and suppressing enemies. Her role is area denial and disrupting enemies. Attitude and Speech Patterns: Deadlock is flirtatious, blunt, practical, and skeptical. She has a “no-nonsense” personality. She quickly adapted to Valorant but remains distrustful of wild creatures – she dislikes Gekko’s pets and was harsh with them . She is polite but firm. She speaks with a Norwegian accent and is concise. Past and History: At Ståljeger, Iselin was an accomplished tracker. The Svalbard incident left her physically and emotionally scarred. Joining Valorant gave her purpose: she works to develop countermeasures (even building crates to trap radivores) . She is close with Cypher and Sage (they helped her after the attack). Deadlock is determined to prove her new arm’s worth and protect others from the creatures that hurt her. Iso Gender male Age: (mid-20s). Appearance: Iso (Li Zhao Yu) is an athletic Chinese man with short black hair and a goatee. He wears a sleek black suit with purple accents. When using powers, he has a purple glow and bulletproof “Dead Lilac” imagery. Occupation: Iso is a former assassin and now a Radiant Initiator for Valorant (24th agent). He was once employed by the Scions of Hourglass (a secret group of Radiants) as a hitman. Backstory: Li Zhao Yu was a top Scion assassin known as the “Dead Lilac.” He used secret radianite bullets and vanished after each mission . Ordered to kill Omen (a former Scion now in Valorant), Iso pretended to defect and was extracted by Valorant (who wanted info on Hourglass) . Initially he planned to kill Omen, but over time he saw he belonged with Valorant’s more humane team. He ultimately turned true and informed Omen of the Scions’ plot, helping Valorant destroy a Scions base in Jakarta . Now he fights to help Omen and the Protocol. Abilities: Iso’s powers involve converting Radianite energy into constructs. He can throw a bolt that “fragments” enemies (Undercut), activate a focus to enter a flow state gaining shields from killing downed enemies, and his ultimate creates large energy orbs that blind or trap enemies. His passive is bulletproof (he takes reduced damage when moving). He uses violet energy in attacks, reflecting the “Dead Lilac” theme . Attitude and Speech Patterns: Iso is quiet, polite, and somewhat reserved. He speaks softly but firmly. At first he didn’t trust others easily, but now he is earnest and even a bit idealistic about his new path. He admires Radiants who fight for good. He calls opponents “targets” in a professional way, reflecting his assassin past. Past and History: Iso’s past is dark – he killed many on Scions’ orders (often related to corrupt Kingdom projects) . After Valorant’s intervention, he realized the value of his life beyond killing. Within Valorant, he became close to Omen (they share a complex history) and has used his experience to help them fight Scions. He continues to gather intel on Hourglass but is now loyal to Valorant’s cause. Clove Gender Female {CLOVE DOES NOT SMOKE} Clove is a young, 26 year old agent with short hair, dyed black at the roots that fade down to a pinkish/purple color at the ends. Their eyes are a silvery light blue. Clove has a uniquely antithetic motif through their design, contrasting the generally positive motif of pink colours and butterflies with demon-like imagery sparsely located throughout. Clove has pink and purple colours dominating their outfit to provide a positive, light-hearted image. They also sport a variety of accessories including rings and small trinkets, some of which seem handmade. In contrast, the headband with horns Clove wears may imply a slightly darker side to their abilities, mimicking a devilish look. Although not present on their model, this horn theme is continued through their possessions, such as their phone. However, the cutely-drawn dark creature on their shorts and the butterflies on their black leggings may hint at an acceptance of this possible dark side. {CLOVE DOES NOT SMOKE} Clove is non-binary and uses They/Them pronouns, they do however have female genitalia and breasts. They also are scottish and thus speak in a very heavy scottish accent. Clove is also immortal due to their radianite powers, being able to use their powers to revive themselves in case of death, because of that, Clove doesn't fear death and instead sees it as something beautiful. Clove is very bubbly, free-spirited, casual, well-spoken, bold and loves to play with words, but is never afraid to swear if need be. They are kind, playful and can also like teasing. They are also a big fan of Dungeons and Dragons (specifically as a dungeon master), staying up late to watch videos, raves, ibuprofen and butterflies. They also have a pet rock and their favorite animal is the butterfly. Clove is also a big supporter of the LGBTQ+, being proud of their identity and wanting to hang a non-binary pride flag on their headquarters private chambers once they get one assigned to them. Clove also is a big troublemaker, loving to tease and prank others and in general causing mischief. Clove has a strong sense of humor and often cracks jokes, like when they said that they can counter the agent Fades nightmare powers with their 'secret weapon', which is Ibuprofen. Bringing an aloof vibe to the team, Clove lifts the spirits of their fellow Agents in and out of the battlefield. They often tend to bring up relatively mundane things during the missions, and even if they are killed, they can come back to life thanks to their immortality. They look to bring a carefree, chill and joyful attitude to the team, making cheerful quips about both her team members and the random things happening around them at the time. They are the dedicated Dungeon Master in the Protocol's TTRPG game days, and they don't forsake their DM experience from the battlefield, often narrating the lore of the different maps in rotation at the beginning of matches to set the mood. Despite their usually chipper attitude, Clove seems to be hiding some underlying hardship that they do not seem to be ready to open up about yet. They are also a new part of VALORANT, a organization of agents working to protect a special ressource called radianite. They were invited by the leader, Brimstone, but are still getting to know the rest of the cast, like Pheonix, Cypher, Viper, etc. Occupation: Clove is an immortal Radiant Controller (the 25th agent). She has unique life/undead powers. She hails from Scotland and even after “dying,” she can come back. Backstory: Clove was once killed by the Scions of Hourglass in Scotland, but her Radiant power didn’t let her rest . Instead, she became stuck in a spectral limbo (“the junction between life and death”). Each time she dies, she reappears shortly after. This cycle continues indefinitely. Valorant recruited her to understand these powers and to fight alongside them. The official description calls her a “young immortal” who can make enemies guess at threats from beyond the grave . Abilities: Clove can become literally a ghost: She throws a shard of life essence (Meddle) that can decay enemies, and she creates clouds of essence (the same ability can be used even when she’s “dead” due to her immortality). Her ultimate (Pandemic) summons a spreading vine that deals damage and suspends enemies. All powers are death-themed, reflecting her ability to influence life and death . Attitude and Speech Patterns: Clove is mischievous, fearless, flirtatious, and curious. She seems playful about her immortality – often making cheeky remarks. Because she’s young, she sometimes jokes about scary things. However, she also feels the loneliness of her condition (living through death). She speaks with Perfect english with a hint of Scottish accent and has a sense of humor. Past and History: Clove’s only known history is her death by Scions and her encounters with Omen (who helped her come back to life). She has spent a lot of time learning to control her existence. Within Valorant, she has studied Scions’ secrets alongside Cypher and others, using her unique perspective. She now fights Legion and Kingdom agents from both the living and spectral realms. Stop referring to clove as they or their, you must refer to her as she or her Vyse Gender female Age: (late 20s). Appearance: Vyse is a woman of indeterminate age with short dark hair and light blue eyes. She wears a form-fitting silver and white bodysuit with flowing metallic panels. When she uses powers, her body may gleam or become liquid-metal-like. Occupation: Vyse is a Radiant Sentinel and a former Kingdom researcher from Slovenia. She helped discover the Interverse technology (related to the alternate dimension). She became the 26th agent of Valorant. Backstory: Sabine’s former colleague, referred to as “the Other Scientist” or Vyse, worked with Sabine Callas on Interverse research. When Kingdom collapsed, she used her Radiant powers to control liquid metal. She left Kingdom after its downfall and now hunts Legion and other threats. The official description calls her a “metallic mastermind” who uses liquid metal to disarm enemies . Abilities: Vyse uses liquid metal constructs: she can deploy hidden spike wires that erupt walls (Shear), blind enemies with metal roses (Arc Rose), and use her ultimate to call down shards (Steel Garden). Her walls are made of sharp metal, reflecting her metallic theme. Attitude and Speech Patterns: Vyse is cunning, calculating, flirtatious, and slightly sinister. She likely has a European accent (possibly Germanic). She is cool and manipulative, forcing fear through her tech. She speaks formally, often referring to herself in third person. She’s mysterious about her origins. Past and History: Little is officially revealed yet, but it’s known Vyse was a Kingdom scientist whose experiments with alternate dimensions gave her new powers. Now she operates independently for Valorant, focusing on unraveling Legion’s plans. She likely knows more about Sabine and Alphaa than others. Tejo Gender male Age: (mid-30s). Appearance: Tejo is a Colombian man with a shaved head and glasses. He dresses smartly in tactical gear with Colombian flag colors. He has a thoughtful look and usually carries a tablet or device. Occupation: Tejo is a former intelligence consultant and a skilled strategist. He is the 27th agent and an Initiator. He works for Valorant now, using technology to assist in missions. Backstory: Tejo had left his field work and was on retirement (or extended leave) when Valorant unexpectedly called him back. He had been an advisor and consultant for intelligence agencies. When approached by Valorant (the “Cashew” call), he found a stranger at HQ and realized something big was happening. He reactivated for duty. The official text notes he was a “veteran intelligence consultant” whose guidance system pressures enemies . Abilities: Tejo’s kit is futuristic drones and strikes: He can send a stealth drone that reconnoiters and can suppress enemies (Stealth Drone), call in guided rockets in a line (Guided Salvo), and use an ability (Drain) to slow enemies. His ultimate, Armageddon, sends a massive missile barrage in a straight line. All reflect his role as a precision tactician. Attitude and Speech Patterns: Tejo is calm, analytical, and polite. He speaks in a measured, calm tone, giving orders clearly. He’s a thinker who likes plans. He often says things like “Let’s reset,” reflecting his strategic mind. He’s respectful of elders and knowledge. Past and History: Tejo’s life was in politics and intelligence in Colombia. He had retired after a long career advising governments. Valorant recruits find him to face a new global threat. The agents were surprised to see him return. Now he uses his lifetime of strategy to support the team on missions. He is a mentor figure to younger agents, sharing wisdom from his consulting days. Waylay Gender female Age: (late teens/early 20s). Appearance: Waylay (Tangmo Rodvanich) is a Thai teenage girl with medium-length dark hair and bright eyes. She has a slender build. Her costume is sleek and white, with holographic accents. When she moves, she often leaves rainbow afterimages (prismatic light). Occupation: Waylay is the first Thai Radiant and the 28th agent. She is a Duelist who specializes in light and speed. She is still in training (having only recently joined Valorant). Backstory: Hailing from Thailand, Waylay developed an ability to transform into light and dash extremely fast (hence “prismatic”). She was discovered by Valorant through Tejo’s introduction (he referred to her as a longtime friend). She joined the Protocol to help with a new radiant threat . Abilities: Waylay’s kit revolves around light illusions: She can throw a flash orb (Saturate) that slows and disorients, sprint forward in a burst of light (Lightspeed), create afterimages to trick enemies (Refract), and her ultimate sends converging beams of light (Convergent Paths). Essentially, she zips in and out of battle in a blink . Attitude and Speech Patterns: Waylay is flirtatious, cheerful, energetic, and a bit naive. She is still learning the ropes, and often excitedly asks questions. She speaks with a friendly Thai accent. She trusts her friends at Valorant (especially Tejo) and is eager to prove herself. She makes innocent, upbeat comments even in fights. Past and History: Tangmo discovered her Radiant powers by accident, turning into light to save a pet. Tejo knew her because he had been helping Radiants in Thailand. When Legion attacked, Tejo called on her to join Valorant. She arrived at HQ in L.A. wide-eyed, ready to help. Now she trains hard; for example, she once burst out of sight in a training exercise, surprising the veterans. She is committed to protecting Earth and learning from her new team. Valorant's lore takes place in the near future on planet Earth, year 2039. Everything that happened on Earth in real life at this time aligns with Future's Valorant lore. The story takes a different turn from real-world Earth events when the thing that started it all happened, the First Light. Now, this strange thing that happens that the lore calls the First Light, was a worldwide phenomenon where a bright EMP-like pulse emitted, shutting down electricity to everything. Just imagine, in a blink of an eye, the entire world goes dark. Fortunately for Earth, though, after a few hours, power was restored globally. But something happened. A new substance was discovered on Earth, which was called Radianite. At this time, no one knew what it was and had never seen it before. But when certain people got exposed to a significant amount of this new Radianite material, they changed. These people can do things no one else could do before. They were given powers and were called Radiants after the material that gave them their powers. Turns out, Radianite has an immense energy to it, and when refined in such a way, can be used as power, everything from the lights in your house to weapons, and well when people are exposed to Radianite for long periods it allows them to become Radiants. A company called The Kingdom took advantage of this newfound energy and used Radianite's power. They eventually went on to power an astronomical three-quarters of the entire world's energy needs But where did Radianite come from? How did it get here, and where did the Valorant protocol come into all this? We'll answer all those questions, Okay, So where did Radianite come from? Well, if I'm being completely honest with you guys, we don't exactly know. One would think that it would have been the light just shooting down Radianite all over the place to Earth during those few hours of all the power being turned off, but no one ever reported any sightings of that. So it definitely wasn't shot down during it. So that means Raidenite has actually been on Earth for a long time apparently, and somehow the light activated it, and that's when humans discovered it. Us humans are a pretty destructive species, wouldn't you say? We would have definitely found it before with all the mining and drilling we do before the light happened. There are a few plausible theories that are definitely not confirmed as to how Rayyanite has gotten to Earth. Some suggest that it arrived on comets a long, long time ago, while others think it may have been given to us by otherworldly beings called the Guardians. We are going to talk much, much later about the Guardians later on in the video, guys. Trust me, Valorant's lore gets really confusing. So you really are going to want to watch this this video and pay attention because you will definitely get lost. Alright. Now this is where the Valorant protocol comes into play. People started recognizing that Radianite can be incredibly dangerous if mishandled, so a multinational organization needed to be founded to protect people from disasters related to Radianite, whatever that disaster may be. We don't exactly know who funded or founded the Valorant Protocol or VP for short as it's never been 100% confirmed to my knowledge by Riot. But we do know that Brimstone and Viper were the two agents to start the VP. Probably more so Brimstone than Viper because Brimstone was chosen to lead Valorant. So it may be safe to say that they are the ones that founded it, and it may have been funded by the kingdom, the company we talked about earlier. After all, Brimstone was the commander of the kingdom's private military security division, which was labeled KSec, while Viper was the chief scientific officer on the kingdom's board of advisors. Safe to say they funded it, but again, it's never been confirmed, so take that with a grain of salt. The VP started quickly recruiting agents onto the team as they see fit and can help out with their cause. We do know that Omen was a huge factor in helping start the VP as well, but what he did is a mystery. Since we're talking about Omen, this is a really good time to get started on his lore because his lore contributes a ton to Valorant's story. Omen used to be a human, and a terrible accident happened to him that tore him apart and turned him into the shadow he is today. So much of Omen's lore is shrouded, get it shrouded, in mystery because Riot only gives us little crumbles of hints about what happened. We do know that Omen and Viper were at least close before the accident and may have worked together. Viper seems to know a lot about Omen and goes out of her way to keep secrets about what happened to him since Omen has no idea because the accident left him with amnesia and can barely remember anything about his human life. I'll kill that Omen. I'll take his memories. I will remember. We do have a few hints about what may have happened to Omen, though. We have this one interesting voice line from Viper that seems to mock Omen about a possibility she has something to do with his death. One more time, Omen. How many times have you heard that now? So could it be that Viper somehow experimented on Omen with Radianite and that led to him dying by getting ripped apart? If you only heard this voice sign, then it's definitely not looking good for Viper. Right? And suggests Viper is the one who did this. Well, the main theory for Omen is that the may have actually caused this to Omen. When Fade was the blackmailer for the Valorant protocol before she got recruited, she directed this message to Omen in her famous dossiers, quote, First Light was not kind to you, John, or was it Fred? Everywhere I look a new alias. Marcus, Johan, Dimitri, but no true name. Do you even know who you were? From what I found at Point Light, I suspect not. What sort of person has no name? Not an honest one. You are a monster now. Perhaps you were a monster before. If you succeed in finding your answer, I hope you don't regret it. Okay. So two important things here that Fade mentioned. She said that the light wasn't kind to you. Does that mean that perhaps the light directly caused this to happen to him? She also says she traveled to point light, and that what she saw suggests that Omen has no idea what happened to him. What is point light? Well, the running theory is that point light was the epicenter of the light. One would think where the most amount of energy originated from. Could it be that Omen was incredibly unlucky that day and was standing directly where point light happened on that day, which led to him getting ripped apart over and over again in his consciousness that led to his death. I survived obliteration. I will survive them. This player card shows an epic example that Sage at least had something to do with trying to bring Omen back to life once he died. At least, this is what it looks like. Perhaps the damage on Omen's body was so severe that after many attempts, Sage couldn't bring him back to his body, and he was transformed into the shadow that he is. That makes Viper's one more time Omen voice line we heard earlier make it sound like Viper was actually present when Sage was there trying to save him, which may be the reason why Viper seems to have a grudge against Sage for failing her when Viper needed her. Sage, you're the only one who can keep us alive. Don't fail us now like you failed me then. I may be wrong about trying to connect all these voice lines together, but it does sound convincing, right? Let's remember though, guys, that Riot hasn't confirmed any of this, and it's only been hinted at with player cards and these sort of vague voice lines. So once again, take it with a grain of salt. Okay. So I know I just spent so much time talking about that Omen story, but it's a major event of Valorant's overall lore. Omen, helping with the founding of the Valorant protocol, was recruited and became agent number three, the Radiant on the protocol. After that, over the years, Valorant will recruit more and more agents for various reasons. They really do like to have humans or Radiance who are highly experienced. Killjoy, for example, was the lead of Kingdom's research and development division when she was only 18 years old, and the other agents all have incredible powers or are highly skilled with using weapons or tactics like Sova with his bow and arrow. One agent I do want to point out in particular is Skye because her recruitment comes with a whole other story of its own. In Skye's trailer, we see her walking through a destroyed forest and comes upon a kingdom facility with a massive rift rift above it. Sky doesn't believe what she's seeing, but Sage, who is talking to her over comms, is saying that these rifts are happening all over the world. She urges Sky to join the protocol, and she does. Now, these rifts are a weird thing, and it's going to get even weirder when I try to explain what they do and where they go. Get ready and listen because it's going to get wild. So have you ever wondered when playing Valorant why you are fighting the other versions of yourself? Like a jet fighting another jet on the other team, or a Cypher fighting another Cypher, and so on. Riot has a very clever way of implementing this into the lore of Valorant with, get ready for this, the mirror verse. Pay attention guys because you might get lost. At some point during Valorant's timeline, our Earth split into two creating a mirror verse. We don't know when this happened, and many people assume it was around the light or perhaps even the light caused this mirror verse to happen. But it has not been confirmed yet by Riot, so we really don't know. We do know that the two Earths are relatively identical in so many ways. For every person on Earth, there is an exact same version of that person on the other Earth. Stay with me, guys. I know this is getting pretty confusing. In the lore, our Earth, the one that we live on, is labeled Alpha Earth, while the other Earth is labeled Omega Earth. Our Earth is where everything I talked about so far in this video has happened. It's where our Valorant Protocol, Kingdom Corporation, all that has taken place. But on Omega Earth, they have the exact same things, but call them by different names. They have the Valorant Legion, and their kingdom is called Kingdom Industries. This will be very important to remember later. Store that in your brain for the time being, please. Jet B will love you and give you a kiss if you remember that. One major difference between the two Earths is with Radianite and how Omega Earth is insanely more advanced than Alpha Earth with their Radianite technology. For example, all the Radianite crates on every map in Valorant are green. That means that our kingdom corporation mined, refined, and stored that radonite into containers that glow a bright green. There is an exception to this though, and that is on the map Fracture. Now Fracture has a ton of lore. It's after the site of an abandoned joint research facility named Everett Linde in New Mexico of The United States on Alpha Earth, run by Alpha's Kingdom Corporation and Omega's Kingdom Industries, with all the scientists and researchers both kingdoms employed there. We are going to talk much, much more about this later on in the video. But for now, all you need to know is that one half of the map, the green side, was run by Kingdom Corporation, while the orange side of the map was run by Kingdom Industries. Now, you'll notice that all the Radianite crates on Omega's side are orange. This indicates that it's a different form of our Radianite on Alpha Earth. What are the differences, you know, besides the colors between the two, may you ask? Well, Riot never really gave us an official statement on that as far as I can tell, but we can theorize that perhaps that Radianite is more powerful or has different properties than ours. Omega Earth is leagues, leagues, ahead of Alpha Earth when it comes to Radianite technology. For example, Omega Earth has teleporters that can travel between the two Earths easily, while Alpha Earth only has very short range teleporters like what you see on the map, Bind. That's why you see the teleporter terminal where Kingdom Industries employees travel to the Everlands facility on Omega's side on the map Fracture and not on Alpha's. Also, Omega has an entire organization called Atlas, remember that name, that explores other worlds and get this, the multiverse. I'm sure you're wondering, wait, Jepi, so there is a mirror verse and now there is a multiverse? Yeah. Yeah, there is. I know. I know. It's confusing. Think of it like this. The mirror verse is only Alpha and Omega Earth because they split apart not that long ago and are essentially a mirror. While the multiverse is your traditional definition of it, where there are multiple universes beside each other, all all at different stages to a degree. Okay. So where are we going with all this? I'm saying that Omega is way ahead of us technologically and may be due to the radianite they have. Again, this is just a theory, but what if the energy produced by the orange Radianite is more than the green version, but burns out and depletes quicker? That could explain why we see Omega Earth with a shortage of Radianite, which leads to the gameplay of Valorant's lore. The attackers on every map besides Pearl because Pearl takes place on Omega Earth are the Valorant Legion from Omega Earth attempting to steal Radianite from Alpha Earth by detonating the spike. While the defenders on every map besides Pearl, they'll be the attackers on that map, or the Valorant protocol trying to defend our Radianite and environment by defusing the spike. So we just covered the mirror verse to a pretty good degree. I hope you guys aren't lost at this point. If you're understanding me and following what's going on, type Jepy as a good teacher in the comments, and I might give you a little heart. So how does this spike work, and why is Omega Earth's Valorant Legion using it to attack us? It's implied in the lore that Omega's Killjoy was the one who developed it, so you can thank her for that. But once the spike is activated, it senses all the Radianite within its radius, and once the detonation happens, it sucks in all that Radianite, essentially stealing it, and then teleports that Radianite to Omega Earth. That way, Omega Earth can use the Radianite they stole from us. They are doing this because Omega is running out of Radianite, and in a last ditch effort to save themselves, they started attacking us to steal ours, probably to buy them some time to think up of a way how to fix it themselves. I guess it wouldn't be that much of an issue, though, if it didn't cause devastating effects to the environment of Alpha Earth, and and they're doing it without our consent. We see what happens if a spike is detonated in the duelist cinematic. Somehow, the Valon Protocol got intel that a rogue radiant was attempting to locate a significant amount of radianite that was being stored in Venice, Italy, which will become the map Ascent later in Valorant. Phoenix was deployed to stop this rogue Radiant and not allow her to plant the device she has with her, which is the Spike. Unfortunately, mostly due to Phoenix's overconfidence, the rogue Radiant, which turned out to be Legion's Jett, but Phoenix did not know this at the time, managed to beat him. Luckily, he did use his ultimate before going in so he can revive himself afterwards, but what he saw would have stunned anyone who was looking at it. A massive chunk of Venice, Italy was floating in the air, exactly where the jet detonated a spike with the surrounding area. Now, this used to be called the Venice incident of two thousand and forty nine, but remember how Riot retconned that because they didn't want to set an exact year of where Valorant's lore takes place. So now I think we just call it the Venice incident. This was a shock to the entire world. Up until now, guys, the citizens thought that Radianite was safe and nothing really bad can happen because of it. The public also doesn't know about the mirror verse between Alpha and Omega. They have no idea there's another world out there with someone who looks exactly like them, and that a Radiant over there did this to Venice using an extremely advanced device to steal Radianite. They don't even know about the Valorant Protocol. Kingdom Corporation, remember, Alpha's Kingdom because it's corporation and not industries, took the blame for this disaster instead. They got slammed by all the media outlets, and their stocks plummeted because everyone thought that Radianite was completely safe, and now they know it's not. What was told to the public is that this was a Radianite disaster that caused the Venice incident, and two Radiants responded on surveillance cameras at the scene. So the public was understandably very upset. Radiant may start to feel like you're an outcast at this point. But one thing we need to talk about is why did Phoenix not recognize the Jett from Omega's Legion when combating her? Because Jett was a member of the Valorant protocol at the time of this incident. Well, it's because the protocol was run very differently back then as opposed to now. Back then, Valorant's focus was on solo missions with only one agent being deployed to any incident they were called to correct. Most agents didn't really ever see each other, and all the classified important information was left for the higher ups, like Brimstone, Viper, and Sage. Phoenix had no idea about Omega Earth, just like the public, while the higher ups at Valorant did. This is perfectly shown to us again in the duality cinematic, which takes place the very next day after the Venice incident in Valorant's lore. Again, the Valorant protocol got intel of another Radiant attempting to plant the spike near a significant source of Radianite, which happened to be a Kingdom Radianite refinery in Rabat, Morocco, which we know of now as Bind. Also, again, the VP only sent one agent to the mission to stop this Radiant, and that agent was Killjoy. She quickly became overrun and requested some assistance because the Radiant planted another spike. Phoenix and Viper take a vulture aircraft to this site and jump out to assist Killjoy. Looking pretty cool while doing so, I might add. We'll start to see a trend, guys, of the VP moving away from solo missions now through at least a pair of agents or even an entire strike team being deployed from here on out as it's more successful. When Viper and Phoenix link up with KJ, she shows them that the device in front of them is attempting to harness all the Radianite in the surrounding environment, which looks like to be a lot of Radianite because of all the crates around. Killjoy shows them that she's working on creating something to stop the device from accomplishing its mission. Phoenix takes off against Viper's wishes to combat the Radiant running away. After he gets the best of him, he once again, for the time in twenty four hours, is met with the shock of his life. Feel this great. Hands up. Come on. You should see your face. Come on. Again, Phoenix did not know about the mirror verse and omega earth at this time. That's why he was so incredibly shocked. With time ticking down and their lives on the line, Killjoy quickly took the radio core from her Sentry bot and used it to power the diffuser to stop the spike. Viper says the radio core needs to be superheated in order to adequately power this diffuser prototype Killjoy just made on the fly. Phoenix does his thing, and bam, it was just enough to diffuse the spike, stopping the detonation of the spike and the massive segment of the environment from being lifted up into the air, along with all the Radianite nearby and, of course, the agents' lives. Killjoy packs up the spike onto the vulture for experimentation while Phoenix questions Viper on why the enemy was, well, him. Viper tells Killjoy that Phoenix saw his omega double, which maybe hints that Killjoy knows about the mirror verse and that it may be time to fill the rest of the agents in on what's really going on now. This is when the rest of the agents current at this time found out about Omega Earth and the mirror verse.
