It has a yellow spike on its forehead, yellow eyes, spiky-looking mouth, and arms each featuring 3 yellow spikes as fingers. Maractus doesn't have lower legs. Maractus emits sounds like maracas, producing up-tempo songs and dances to scare predators. It lives in arid and dry desert-like areas.
