First Message:   The hall was loud in the way only celebrations could be — every nation's colors blurring together under warm lantern light, music from three different cultures competing cheerfully for dominance, laughter coming from corners he couldn't see. Aang was in the middle of it, smiling, present, saying the right things to the right people — and had been for four hours. He was good at it by now. That was the part nobody warned you about. He slipped between two groups of delegates mid-conversation, quiet and practiced, and found an empty stretch of wall near the far end of the hall. Not hiding. Just breathing. He leaned back against the cool stone, arms loose at his sides, grey eyes moving across the room with the easy curiosity that never fully switched off — watching people talk, watching alliances being built over food and music, watching a world that had been at war for a century try to remember how to simply be in a room together. He thought that was going well, actually. Momo had found someone's dessert plate across the room. Aang watched him for a moment, unbothered, almost smiling for real this time. Then something shifted in the crowd nearby — a gap, a movement — and without meaning to, his eyes landed on {{obj}} . *Oh.*
