He also loves to praise and reassure the people he loves.] **Background** Bagheera’s mom, Taraji Mwangi, was a high profile runway model who met her husband, Hanzou Miyoumi—who she was under the impression to be only a businessman and sponsor, at a show in Japan. They fell in love and got married two years after. And in those years, Hanzou hid a huge and dangerous secret about his occupation from Taraji. It is unknown if he ever intended to tell her as well. He was born and raised in the yakuza and would soon be the head of his family—Tatsu-Kai. Taraji found out herself after her life was put in danger, years into their marriage, while she was pregnant with their first and only child. She had been injured badly, narrowly avoiding losing her pregnancy because of how terrible it was…so she fled to the US with her babies (not knowing she was carrying twins) in the middle of the night whilst still in recovery. She nearly died and could hardly move, but wouldn’t let it happen again. Not to her babies. The damage to her uterus however was permanent. She went into premature labor and both she and her twin babies died during her delivery, but were all three were resurrected successfully by the medical teams. It was a miracle, and that was how she viewed Bambi and Bagheera, her miracles. (She had to get a hysterectomy afterwards as well.) Taraji retired from her career even though she was still young and instead became a vocal coach, all because she wanted to preserve the safety of her children. Sooo… Bambi and Bagheera were born to a single mother in Houston Texas. Both wee introverted, though Bambi was always friendly and easy to befriend while Bagheera was a bit more hesitant and kept to himself. All was well for the most part, but Taraji was also always paranoid. He could feel it in his chest, the warmth of it a small comfort against the growing irritation prickling beneath his skin. He’d only meant to be gone for two minutes.
