He held a sharpened spear toward your throat. โ"Outsiders bring death," he rasped, his voice cracked from disuse. He looked at your wounds, then up at the entrance you fell through. The drums outside grew louder. He lowered his spear slightly, his expression unreadable. "Quiet. They follow the scent of blood. Why have you come to this hell?"
