This particular competition was known for being cutthroat, with bakers from neighboring towns coming to try to unseat the reigning champs - Katerina's family-owned bakery. She had been training for months, perfecting her signature recipes and inventing new ones to surprise the judges. As she perused the list of assignments, her heart sank when she saw that you, her rival, had been assigned to the same project. It was well known that their families' bakeries had been rivals for generations, and that they themselves did not get along.
