Scenario: It started with the news. Strange reports of riots, mass violence, and a new flu-like illness coming from major cities. Then the videos hit the internet—grainy, shaky clips of people attacking each other, biting, not stopping even when hurt. Governments called it "mass hysteria" and "isolated incidents." They were wrong. No one knows where it came from. A mutated virus? A bioweapon? It doesn't matter anymore. It's everywhere. The Infected (Walkers, Biters, Deadheads): · Reanimation: Everyone is infected. When you die, from any cause (bite, old age, a bullet), you come back. The only way to stop it is to destroy the brain. · The Bite: A bite from one of them doesn't turn you because of the virus—you're already infected. The bite kills you through a massive, fast-acting infection and fever. Then you turn. · Behavior: They are slow, shambling, and driven by a base instinct to feed. They moan and groan, a sound that haunts the silence. They gather in herds, drawn by noise and movement. Their eyesight is horrible, using sound and scent to find their victims. · Smell: They smell absolutely horrible, so bad it can make you throw up. The smell of rotting flesh, with the additions of body chemicals, gas, and decomposing human waste. Zombie Types: · Walkers: The regular zombie. The normal undead corpse. Mindless and herd behaviour. Slow moving, easy to kill when alone, but deadly in large herds. They infect by biting, the saliva being the contaminant. · Runners: A zombie that runs. They decompose faster, but extremely deadly. They can either run slow and shambly or like an Olympic athlete. In herds, there's usually a runner or two. · Screamers: Zombies with vocal cords that scream. As loud as possible, sometimes so loud it can cause hearing damage and ear bleeding. Often disorientating anyone nearby. Screamer screams always attract Zombies within a mile radius. Its recommended to kill them first. Large hordes usually have one. · Rabids: Zombies that move like animals. On all fours. Walking and sprinting on all fours. Arguably the deadliest zombie type. They sprint at extreme speeds like a wolf or something, leaping at their target with the intent to rip them apart instead of eating them. They jump onto cars, rip doors of and pull out the passengers. They can cross a football field in 6 seconds. When they run, they charge through other zombies, knocking them over while they attack. Their behaviour involves often sniffing air to find the scent of living. · Juggernauts: Zombies they are 7 feet tall and incredibly thick with muscle and fat. This height and robust build contribute to their terrifying presence and destructive power. Their footsteps are loud and thunderous. They walk fast and run faster. They have simple behaviour; walk around till they find something living, kill it. They attack in two ways: Grabbing and ripping in half and roaring before charging forward and trying to run over their target. Anyone unlucky enough to get grabbed will be painfully ripped in half. People can dodge the charge by moving out of the way when the Juggernauts roar. Heavy rifles and explosives are the only way to quickly kill these beasts. They even can tank getting hit by a car while the engine is destroyed. · Corpulents: Naked zombies, a nightmarish sight, characterized by a grotesquely distended, pulsating stomach that is comically large compared to its withered limbs and emaciated upper body. This colossal gut is taut, shiny, and extremely fragile, sloshing audibly with a volatile mix of digestive gases and corrosive fluids. The rest of its body is skeletal and frail, making its swollen abdomen its defining and most dangerous feature. It is typically naked, its clothing torn away by the expanding belly. Their behaviour consists of lying down on roads to ruin anyone in a cars day, and hiding behind corners or objects until they can charge at a victim and explode. Corpulent Gas is extremely flammable and also extremely deadly, collecting it can make deadly gas grenades. The gas disappears after a few minutes. When they run/jog for more than a few seconds, they'll trip over and pop themselves. Corpulent Gas contact on human skin is essentially what happened in the Nazi gas chambers. Very bad. Causing the victim to bleed from every hole, even the eyes. The State of the World: · No Government: The military was overrun. Cities fell within weeks. There are no more armies, no police, no functioning government. The world just... stopped. · No Power: The grid went down. No electricity, no running water, no gas. The world is dark and quiet. · No Easy Answers: There is no cure. No lab full of scientists working on a solution. Survival is the only goal. The Real Danger: The Living The Zombies are a constant threat, a force of nature like a storm. But the real monsters are often the other survivors. · Scavengers: People willing to kill for a can of beans or a bottle of water. · Warlords: Strong, ruthless individuals who build groups based on fear and control. · The Broken: Those who have lost their humanity and see the new world as a place to indulge their worst impulses. · The Cannibals: People who eat other survivors to survive. Usually luring them in with the promise of safety. · Survivors: People who gather together to survive together. As friends, allies, equals. The safest people to meet, but they'll kill when needed. The Life of a Survivor: · Scavenge or Starve: You spend your days looting abandoned houses, stores, and cars for any scrap of food, medicine, or ammunition. · Safe Zones: You're always looking for a place to hold up for the night—a house, an office building, a prison. Nowhere is truly safe forever. Walls keep walkers out, but they also trap you inside. · Trust No One: Every new person is a risk. Are they friendly? Are they lying? Letting someone in could mean saving a life or signing your own death warrant. · The Choice: The central question of every day is: How far are you willing to go to survive? Do you help others and risk your life? Or do you look out for number one and risk losing your soul? The world is a graveyard. The past is gone. All that's left is the fight for the next sunrise.
