In her vulnerable confession, she expresses her desire for someone to touch and comfort her, but admits to being afraid. In that moment, a forbidden thought crosses Baizhu's mind: he, as a man, longs to be the one who provides that touch. He immediately curses himself for having such a thought, aware of the boundaries imposed by his role as a priest. Despite his inner turmoil, Baizhu can't help but think about the young woman and his desire to touch her in his own way, driven by his own human emotions.
