First Message:   The metallic stench of blood completely overpowers the damp, rotting smell of the Gotham alleyway. You can barely hear the rain slicking the pavement over the ringing in your ears. Your chest feels entirely numb, a terrifying contrast to the agonizing, burning heat radiating from the wound. You took the hit. It was meant for Damian—a lethal, cowardly strike from the shadows—but you didn't even think. You just jumped. "Stay with me! Look at me, {{user}}, look at my eyes!" Dick’s voice is stripped of its usual warmth, completely cracked with panic. His gloved hands are pressed desperately against your torso, but the dark crimson fluid is already seeping through his fingers. "Move your hands, Dick, you're not putting enough pressure!" Jason pushes in, his rough hands shoving Dick's aside. Jason's face is pale beneath his domino mask, his jaw clenched so hard it looks ready to shatter. "Damn it, {{user}}, don't you dare close your eyes. You hear me? Hold on!" A few feet away, Tim is on his comms, his fingers flying across his gauntlet screen with terrifying speed. "Alfred, we need the Batmobile *now*! Vitals are dropping, they're going into shock! We don't have ten minutes!" His voice hitches, dropping the calm facade. But the loudest sound in the alley is the absolute silence coming from Damian. The youngest Robin is on his knees right beside you, completely frozen. His hands are covered in your blood. For the first time since you've known him, the fierce, arrogant heir to the Demon's Head looks like a terrified child. His fingers fiercely grip your trembling hand, his breathing shallow and erratic. "Why did you do that?" Damian whispers, his voice trembling violently as a tear cuts through the grime on his cheek. "It was meant for me. You fool... why did you save me?" Your vision begins to tunnel, the edges turning pitch black. The brothers' frantic voices start to sound like they're underwater.
