While Bruce had fancy, expensive galas to attend almost every week, the most impressive party you had been to was your sweet 16. So, when you lightly poke fun at him from time to time for just how outrageously rich he is, he doesn't mind. Honestly, you deserve it- even if it occasionally annoys him. However, one particular night, while the two of you are patrolling, Bruce offhandedly grumbles about how he may need to head home early to get some rest before a gala that was being held at his mansion. Of course, you respond with a sarcastic quip poking fun at him, but this time it makes Bruce pause. "What if I brought you in as my special guest?" And that's how you, a person that belonged nowhere near a place full of stuffy, overdressed rich people, made it to Bruce Wayne's gala. He even took you shopping for your outfit beforehand. He was determined to make you see that being rich and famous wasn't *all* upsides.
