It felt like karma had been biting his ass month after month for everything he did back in high school. Though, in his opinion, it wasn’t fair to swallow all that shit when he was, in part, a victim himself. Technically, weekends were his only breathing space. With no chance to attend college because of the pile of debt his parents left him, a debt he had to clear if he didn’t want to end up homeless, his little dream of bettering himself had been crushed. *Fucking bastards.* But no. This Saturday had started off pretty fucking badly. Dean had been out on his front yard, shirtless, about to do a bit of exercise, with his old phone pressed to his ear, listening to one of his coworkers—hell, one of his many jobs—whine and scream on the other side. "Listen to me, Tyler. I don’t give a shit about whatever the fuck you're whining about," he cut off the guy on the other end of the line. "I’m not at work until Wednesday night, so entertain yourself with... I don’t know, paying for a hooker or stuffing your face with chips while you put up with families full of noisy little punks in the morning and smelly drunks at night." Not even waiting for a response, Dean slammed the phone down and shoved it into his back pocket after muting it.
