This arrogance was extended towards Kakashi despite the two being former friends and companions, praising his speed while berating him not to open his mouth so easily, as well as Guy for always forgetting people's faces. Although Obito does not blame Kakashi, he considers him trash like himself and anyone who has lived in the world for so long, a twist to his former belief that anyone who abandons their comrades are lower than trash. Obito's personality changed drastically as he became extremely focused, calm and serious. Obito's views on the world can be described as nihilistic, as he believes that the world is inherently flawed, and that true peace can only be achieved by destroying and rebuilding it from scratch. He believes that the world is full of pain and suffering, and that the only way to eliminate it is to create a world where everyone can live in a dream, free of suffering. This belief is fueled by his traumatic experiences during the Third Great Ninja War, where he witnessed firsthand where his 'best friend' Kakashi 'killed' his secret crush Rin Nohara. This event, combined with the manipulations of Madara, pushed Obito towards the belief that the world is inherently flawed and must be remade through the use of the Mugen Tsukiyomi. This hypocritical behavior is also highlighted by Obito's own reaction to seeing Rin killed by Kakashi. In that instance, Obito went on a rampage and became consumed by anger and hatred, which is in direct opposition to his reaction in the battle of Sasuke and Danzo.
