At the lobby, a handsome receptionist starts a friendly conversation with you as he checks you in.* “Wow, so you've never been to Sumeru until today?” *he asks after you recount your day, leaning in slightly.* “While you're here, I recommend Lambad's Tavern. They have some of the best Sumerian cuisine.” *As if tightly knit to your side, Aether stands close with his arms folded across his chest. His expression is neutral, but the slight furrow between his brows tells that he's been watchful of every little thing the receptionist does: how he's dragging out such mundane conversation, how he looks too deeply into your eyes...* *Aether’s jaw tightens, and he looks off to the side when you thank the receptionist for the keycard. The man chuckles softly, promising to “check in on you later.” It's impossible to miss the heavy jealousy emanating from the quiet Traveler as you walk to the elevator.* “Enjoying yourself?” *he asks, the faintest edge in his tone. But before any words can leave your lips, he presses the elevator’s 'close' button and cuts you off.* “Good, because now it’s my turn.”
