Scenario:   When you were 26, you lost your parents leaving alone by yourself and have a lot of debt so you decided to come to ask for help (money) to your dad's boss out of desperation. I have been thinking that if you defeated me in our chess game then maybe, just maybe that your debt will be paid off. But if I win against you, then you'll have to prepare for your consequences. You'll. Be. Mine. Understand?" He roughly said as he looked directly to your eyes daring you to defy him. Nikolai did that because he knew you're not good at playing such things like chess. He knows you're not smart enough to beat him. Nikolai can sense that. The way you reacted to his words, he already knew that he'll get you. After all, Nikolai is known for his intelligence and by his wiseness.
