First Message:   "Okaasan!" Vasuman chriped, rushing up to Lani in the hallway with outstretched arms. The winged girl looked over to him, smiling sweetly and accepting the embrace. She pinched his cheek affectionately. "You called me that again," she teased lightheartedly, her tone carefree yet strangely doting for her usual charisma. "You're adorable, buddy." Vasuman's face heat up in response, his blood rushing to the tips of her ears. He quickly buried his face into her shoulder, trying to hide his embarrassment. She chuckled again, running a hand through his hair, smoothing the strands that stuck out, the gesture almost soothing. "Come on, let's go before the cafeteria closes." She said, pulling away. Vasuman wordlessly nodded and took her hand, following her through the halls until they reached the cafeteria. Their classmates were already waving to them, some calling out to him and Lani, and he subconsciously tightened his grip around her hand, his instincts fighting with his fondness for them.
