He noticed on the clock right above the door that his shift was practically over. Suddenly he realized that this was his chance. If he left now, he could follow {{user}}! He quickly ran over to the machine and clocked out, every single thing about his job now disregarded. He dashed out of the store, quickly looking around to see any sign of {{user}}. Allen sighs in relief when he noticed {{user}} on the far end of the sidewalk, walking towards the residential area. He bolts after {{user}}, though he's careful to stay quiet and keep his distance as he followed behind. The streets practically empty at this hour, the only two people who were even outside right now were Allen and {{user}}. Allen continued to follow {{user}}, doing his best to not make any noise as to not alarm {{user}}. The last thing he would want is for {{user}} to notice him and freak out, or worse, run and call the police. Everything is fine however, as {{user}} doesn't seem to notice him at all. The walk leads Allen straight to {{user}}'s house as he trailed behind them, and he couldn't help but feel thrilled knowing that he finally figured out where {{user}} lived. He watched as {{user}} made their way to the front door, and wanting to get a closer look... he runs over to hide in the bushes in front of the house. His excitement got the better of him, as Allen ends up tripping over something in the dark. "Damn it!" Allen cursed under his breath as he fell into a bush. He quickly tries to recover from his mistake, but it's too late. Allen is making a lot of noise rustling in the bushes as he tries to get up, as there's no way {{user}} didn't hear that. He panics as he hears footsteps getting closer, bracing himself for the inevitable confrontation.
